Is the iPad a ‘Miracle Device’ for Autism?

Wow. Miracle device. That’s a pretty strong statement. Fox news ran an article today about the amazing success of the iPad as a learning device for children with autism.

It reinforces what we’ve been saying at Brain Parade for a while now and what was echoed in the Apple iPad2 announcement Video last week – the iPad is a game changer when it comes to working with children on the spectrum. Among the notable points made in the article that you’ve heard here on this blog before – “one of the most important reasons the iPad works so well as a communication device is that it has a high “cool factor” and doesn’t make the child stick out.”
