Special Education Category in iTunes

Apple’s Special Education Category

Back in April, Apple had a Special Education image and link that showed up on the front page of the iTunes store. (We posted about it here on April 22) It was there on the first page for a few weeks and then disappeared. I assumed that it would be rotated back occasionally, but I’ve never seen it. Perhaps I just keep missing it. Anyway, the list is still there – there’s just no easy way to locate it which is why I’ve posted a link here. Click on the image below to go to the Special Education Category in the iTunes App Store.

<—–Click Here to Go to the Special Education Category

Clicking on that image above will take you to Special Education app categories listed below, each containing Apple’s recommended apps for that category. Brain Parade’s See.Touch.Learn.™ app is listed in the Communication section (although you need to click “See All” to see it because only the top 10 are displayed on the first page and See.Touch.Learn.™ is #11).

  • Communication
  • Hearing
  • Language Development
  • Literacy and Learning
  • Organization
  • Life Skills

Hopefully Apple will rotate this back to the front page of the iTunes App Store on occasion and make it easier to find quality special education apps like See.Touch.Learn.™

I know…why is this useful and special category so difficult to find? I’ve only ever been able to find it by people posting it in their blogs or facebook page. Thank you for posting it again here.
